Franchize Consultants
(NZ) Ltd, a specialist franchising and licensing
consultancy, and Westpac bank, long supporters
of New Zealand franchising, and rory MacDonald
Law, hold a seminar on franchising a business
for 2005 in Auckland on Thursday 24 August 2005.
The Auckland event is part of a series of franchising
seminars held in major centres throughout New
Zealand this year.
The seminar, entitled ‘The Franchise Advantage,’
will provide business owners with information
on the potential and process of franchising a
business.
The Franchise Advantage seminar includes four
speakers with substantial franchising knowledge
and experience, including Win Robinson (Managing
Director) and Dr Callum Floyd (Senior Consultant)
of Franchize Consultants (NZ) Ltd, Daniel Cloete,
National Franchising Manager of Westpac bank,
and Rory MacDonald, Principal of Rory MacDonald
Law.
Over the course of two hours attendees will gain
considerable insight into franchising and its
potential for facilitating business expansion.
A broad range of topics will be covered including
a history of franchising, advantages and disadvantages
of franchising a business, key structural elements
of a franchise, systems and documentation, the
franchise recruitment process, franchise agreement,
and franchise financing.
The seminar begins at 4.30pm on Thursday 24 August
and will be held at Westpac, PriceWaterHouseCoopers
Tower, 188 Quay Street, Auckland.
