Peter Webster NZCE, MBA
Senior Consultant
With 20 years consulting experience
Peter takes an analytical and creative approach. This he developed
during his original career as a design engineer of special-purpose
equipment for mechanical handling applications. At a time
when there was increased demand for his expertise, Peter established
an agency in 1983 for contract engineers and draughtsmen to
service capital projects in aluminium, steel, dairy, and meat
processing throughout New Zealand.
This business became Personnel
Professionals Ltd, a recruitment consultancy diversifying
successfully to become the foremost consultancy within its
segment, and ultimately sold in 1997 to an American entrant
to the New Zealand market.
Since then Peter has consulted
independently in the fields of business process diagnostics,
with a leaning towards account-management processes. In parallel,
Peter has completed assignments requiring the assessment of
individual competencies, and review of management structures.
The sectors he has consulted within include banking, local
government, industrial merchants, manufacturers and marketers
in FMCG and consumer durables.
Peter completed the Masters Degree
in Business Administration at Auckland University in 1990.
His community activities include administration roles within
Toastmasters International, and as a stage designer for community
theatre.
Peter brings to Franchize Consultants
the experience of successfully starting and operating his
own business and knows first hand the planning and effort
that is required. His experience in and contribution to a
variety of other businesses stands him in good stead for valuable
input into the development of client prospects at Franchize
Consultants (NZ) Ltd.
